Image Positioner
Places images centred (or anchored) on a standard canvas (square, vertical, horizontal). Adds a background around the image.
What it does
Use this to deliver uniform images for e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Trendyol, Instagram). Mixed-size product photos get put on the same square or vertical canvas, giving you a consistent catalogue.
Difference from Resizer: Resizer scales the image itself. Positioner keeps the image as-is and adds empty space around it.
How to use
- Drag images into the list.
- Pick a Target Ratio: Square, Vertical, Horizontal or Original.
- Pick an Alignment (one of the 9 cells in the grid): centre, a corner, or an edge.
- Set the Inner Padding (0-50%).
- Pick a Background Colour: White, Black, Transparent or Custom.
- Click Run.
You get one positioned copy per image.
Target ratio options

Alignment (3x3 grid)
Decides where on the canvas the image sits. Centre is the most common. Corner alignments are for special layouts.
Inner padding
Space between the image and the canvas edge. 10% is standard, 0% lets the image touch the edge, 50% gives a tiny image in the middle.
Background styles
- White: Classic e-commerce, the most common pick for products.
- Black: Luxury items, jewellery.
- Transparent: For PNG output, when you plan to overlay something else.
- Custom: Pick your brand colour.
AI Background Removal
When on, the image's own background is wiped with AI before placing on the new canvas. Use it to convert messy product photos into clean white-background shots.
Examples
Square Trendyol catalogue: Add product photos, Target Ratio Square, Alignment Centre, Inner Padding 15%, Background White, run. Uniform squares for every product.
Instagram story vertical: Add the images, Target Ratio Vertical, Alignment Centre, run.
Strip background and put on white: Add mixed photos, AI Background Removal on, Background White, run.
Logo on a transparent square: Add the logo, Target Ratio Square, Transparent, Inner Padding 20%, run. Use it as a social profile picture.
Watch out
- AI Background Removal needs the rembg library, the model downloads on first use.
- If the image is already at the canvas ratio, only padding is added.
- Transparent background is only preserved by PNG and WebP output, JPG turns it white.
- AI removal can take minutes on large images.
- Alignment is preset, there is no pixel-level custom positioning.
