Image Watermark
Stamps a logo as a watermark onto images. Position, opacity, size, rotation, and a tiled (full-coverage) mode are configurable.
What it does
Use this to add your brand logo to photos, mark product images with copyright, or sign your social media posts.
Note: This tool is for logo (image) watermarks only. For text watermarks use Image Text Overlay. For PDF watermarks PDF Watermark is a separate tool.
How to use
- Drag images to be watermarked into the list.
- Click Select Logo Image and pick your logo (PNG recommended for transparency).
- Pick a Position (9 presets).
- Set Opacity, Scale and Rotation.
- Click Run.
You get one watermarked copy per image.
Logo formats
- PNG (recommended): Best results thanks to transparency.
- JPG / WebP: For logos with white or solid backgrounds.
- SVG: Vector logo, stays sharp at any size.
Layout settings
- Position: Top-right, top-left, bottom-right, bottom-left, centre, edge centres. Bottom-right is the usual choice.
- Opacity (%): 0 invisible, 100 fully visible. 40-60% is the classic watermark look.
- Scale (%): How big the logo is relative to the image. 20% is standard.
- Rotation: 0° upright. 45° for a diagonal watermark.
Tiled mode
Repeats the logo across the entire image. Heavier copy protection, but makes the underlying content harder to read. Rare on social media, common for rights-sensitive archives.
Examples
Brand logo on photos: Add the photos, pick a PNG logo, Position Bottom-Right, Opacity 50%, Scale 15%, run.
Signature on social media images: Add the images, pick your personal logo, Position Bottom-Right, Opacity 70%, run.
Heavy copyright protection: Add the shoots, pick the logo, Tiled mode, Opacity 20%, run. Logo repeats everywhere.
Diagonal watermark: Add the images, pick the logo, Position Centre, Rotation 45°, Opacity 25%, Scale 50%, run.
Watch out
- For transparency your logo must be PNG. A JPG logo brings its own background.
- Very low opacity (below 10%) is barely visible and offers no protection.
- Very large scale (50%+) hides the content beneath.
- The logo is stamped at the same size and position on every image.
- Watermarks are baked in, you cannot remove them afterwards. Keep the original.
