PDF Convert
Two-way conversion between PDF and Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images, text and HTML. Convert dozens of files at once with one click.
What it does
When you need to move a document from one format to another - editing a PDF report in Word, sending a contract as PDF, archiving slides, or combining images into one PDF - this tool covers all of those everyday cases in one place.
How to use
- Pick a conversion type from the dropdown (e.g. "PDF to Word").
- Drag files into the list or click Add Files. Adding a folder queues every matching file inside it.
- If the source is PDF, optionally type a Page Range like
1-10, 50-60. Leave blank to process every page. - Click Run.
You get one output per input file, with the same base name and the new extension.
Conversion types
| Type | What it does |
|---|---|
| PDF to Word | Produces an editable Word document. Run OCR first on scanned PDFs. |
| PDF to Images | Each page becomes a separate high-resolution JPG/PNG. |
| PDF to Excel | Tries to extract tables. Works best on cleanly gridded PDFs. |
| PDF to PowerPoint | Embeds each page as a high-resolution image in a slide. |
| Word to PDF | Converts Word documents into standard PDF. |
| Excel to PDF | Prints the workbook as PDF. |
| PowerPoint to PDF | Turns the deck into a PDF, ideal for archiving. |
| Images to PDF | Combines multiple images into one PDF, in the order you added them. |
| Text to PDF | Renders a plain-text file as clean formatted PDF pages. |
| HTML to PDF | Saves a static HTML page as PDF. |
Examples
Convert 50 Word files in a folder to PDF: Pick "Word to PDF", add the folder, run. You get 50 PDFs next to the originals.
Pull 21 pages out of a 200-page thesis into Word: Pick "PDF to Word", add the file, type 1-10, 50-60 into Page Range.
Combine 30 images into one PDF: Pick "Images to PDF", drag the images in, run. Each image becomes a page.
Archive a deck: Pick "PowerPoint to PDF", add the file, run.
Watch out
- Switching the conversion type clears the file list. Pick the type first, then add files.
- Word/Excel/PowerPoint to PDF needs LibreOffice or Microsoft Office installed on your machine.
- Scanned PDFs may convert to empty Word documents. Run OCR first.
- "PDF to PowerPoint" output is not editable text, pages are embedded as images.
- Encrypted PDFs cannot be converted. Unlock them with PDF Encrypt first.
- HTML to PDF will not fully render modern CSS layouts or JavaScript-drawn content. Static HTML works best.
