Barcode and QR Station

Generates QR codes, Code 128, EAN-13 and Data Matrix barcodes. Also reads barcodes from image files.

What it does

Use this to turn a URL into a QR code for a poster, produce product-code barcodes, prepare a promo code customers can scan, or read codes out of old label scans.

How to use

Two side-by-side sections.

Generator

  1. Type text, URL or SKU.
  2. Pick a Format (QR Code, Code 128, EAN-13, Data Matrix).
  3. Click Generate Preview.
  4. The preview appears on the right.
  5. Click Save as Image to get a PNG.

Decoder

  1. Drag a barcode/QR image in or pick it.
  2. The decoded value appears below.

Supported formats

EAN-13 product barcode: Type the product code, EAN-13, Generate. 12-digit codes get auto-completed.

Read a barcode off an old label: Drag the label image in, read the code.

Promo code QR: Type the promo URL, QR Code, Generate, share with customers.

Watch out

  • No batch generation, one barcode at a time.
  • No batch decoding, you scan one image at a time.
  • No live camera scanning, file-only.
  • You cannot change the colour, it is fixed black on white.
  • No logo embedding in QR codes.
  • EAN-13 inputs shorter than 12 digits are zero-padded automatically.

License

Free tier has a monthly generate/decode cap. Office plan removes it.
