Image Studio (Effects and Enhancements)

Applies colour adjustments and visual effects to images. Brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, black-and-white, shadows and borders.

What it does

Use this to revive faded photos, brighten dark images, add a polished social-media look, or apply the same colour correction to a whole batch in one pass.

How to use

  1. Drag images into the list.
  2. Set the sliders and toggles in the left panel.
  3. Check the preview on the right.
  4. Click Run.

You get one adjusted copy per image.

Colour adjustments

  • Smart Auto-Contrast: Stretches the darkest pixel to black and the brightest to white. Brings faded photos back to life.
  • Brightness: 0% pure black, 100% original, 200% bright.
  • Contrast: 0% flat grey, 100% original, 200% hard contrast.
  • Saturation: 0% black-and-white, 100% original, 200% vibrant.
  • Sharpness: 0% blurry, 100% original, 200% crisp edges.

Black and White mode

Converts the image to black-and-white. Different from setting saturation to 0 because it applies proper B&W tonal mapping.

Visual effects

  • Soft Drop Shadow: Adds a soft shadow around the image. Good for slide decks and product cards.
  • Outer Border: Draws a border around the image (in pixels). 0 = off.

Examples

Revive faded photos: Add the images, Smart Auto-Contrast on, Saturation 120%, run.

Black-and-white social media set: Add the images, Black and White on, Contrast 110%, run.

Product cards with shadow: Add the product photos, Soft Drop Shadow on, run. They look more polished on a web page.

Brighten dark scans: Add old photos, Brightness 130%, Contrast 115%, Sharpness 120%, run.

Watch out

  • All settings apply to every file identically, no per-file tuning.
  • Extreme slider values (300%+) damage the image.
  • Smart Auto-Contrast may ruin artistic shots that are intentionally dark, turn it off in that case.
  • Shadow and border are added around the image, so output dimensions grow.
  • Black and White is permanent, you cannot come back to colour. Keep the original.

Free tier has a monthly studio cap. Office plan removes it.
