Color Picker

What it does

Use this to pick colours for web design, produce CSS values, find the RGB version of a brand colour, or convert between colour formats.

How to use

1. Click Select Color.
2. Pick a colour from the palette.
3. HEX, RGB and HSL values appear.
4. Use Copy to grab the format you want.

Alternative: type a value into any field and the others auto-update.

Examples

Pick a colour for a web page: Select Color, choose from the palette, copy the HEX, paste into CSS.

Find the RGB of a brand colour: Type the brand HEX, RGB fills in automatically.

Convert HSL to HEX: Type the HSL value, HEX is auto-produced.

Quick corporate colour: Click one of the swatches at the bottom.

Watch out

• No screen colour-picker (eyedropper) feature.
• HSL is shown as 0-100% on screen.
• No transparency (alpha) support.
• Does not match Pantone or RAL professional colour catalogues.
